A unique opportunity to own a tropical private island in Indonesia!
Situated off the Sekotong Peninsula on the south west coast of Lombok, close to the famous surf and diving spot at Bangko Bangko, there are a group of 12 small islands, or gili’s as they are known locally. At 2.6 hectares (without coastal border law) Gili Poh is the smallest of the islands and apart from a small lighthouse remains completely undeveloped. The island boasts pristine white sand beaches and tropical vegetation, it is surrounded by turquoise water containing beautiful coral reefs and an abundance of sea life. With views across the ocean to the neighbouring gili islands and Lombok, with its vast Rinjani volcano to the east, plus the volcanoes of Bali to the west silhouetting against the spectacular sunsets, this really is the quintessential island paradise!
Gili Poh can be accessed in 10 to 15 minutes by speed boat from Tawun Harbor on Lombok, or directly from Bali by speed boat which takes approximately 90 minutes. Helicopter and sea plane charters are also available from Bali. Tawun Harbor is approximately 1 hour drive from Lombok’s International airport.
The island is split into two land certificates; 12,345m2 Hak Guna Bangunan (freehold) and 5,100m2 Hak Pakai (leasehold totaling 100 years). The total certified land is 17,965m2, the remaining land on the island, totaling approximately 80 are, is accounted for by the coastal border law and the lighthouse area which is not certified. The company who owns the certificates have obtained the licenses to build a resort on the island. To date this includes the desa (village) permit, the lurah (village head) permit, the camat (subdistrict head) permit, the location and environmental permits from the local regency government, location permits from the local regency government and building permits.
This island is marketed for sale inclusive of the permits and licenses at IDR 40,000,000,000 – please enquire for more information or to arrange an inspection.
