Elephant Villa 4 is a two-bedroom retreat in Ubud with 170 square metres of living space and 200 square metres of tropical garden. At US$204 per night in low season, that works out to US$102 per bedroom — a fair rate for a private-pool villa in Ubud with daily housekeeping and a peaceful setting surrounded by rice fields. The villa sleeps up to five guests and is part of the Elephant Villa complex, which also includes a 5-bedroom villa and an estate option for larger groups.

The design is contemporary with Smart TV and streaming services in the living area, a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, and air-conditioned bedrooms with safety boxes and wardrobe space. The private pool sits within the 200 sqm garden and has a pool fence for child safety, along with sun loungers and a terrace for outdoor living. Two staff handle daily housekeeping, gardening, and pool maintenance.

The Ubud location puts you among rice terraces, temples, and the cultural heart of Bali. While further from the beach than Seminyak or Canggu villas, Ubud offers a completely different experience — art galleries, yoga retreats, the Monkey Forest, and some of the island’s best restaurants are all nearby. Scooter and car hire can be arranged through the villa.

• Self-catering with full kitchen — the fully equipped kitchen with toaster means you can cook at your own pace. Ubud’s organic markets and local warungs provide excellent fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices.
• Smart TV with streaming services — the living room has a Smart TV with streaming access, ideal for quiet evenings after exploring Ubud’s cultural sites during the day.

Good To Know

• No chef included — unlike beach-area villas at this price point, Elephant Villa 4 is self-catering. The kitchen is well equipped, and Ubud has excellent restaurants within driving distance, but there is no in-house chef for meals.
• Two staff only — housekeeping and gardening are covered daily, but this is a more intimate setup than the fully-staffed larger villas. Massage services and laundry can be arranged on request.
• Transport needed in Ubud — Ubud is spread out and not walkable in the same way as Seminyak. Scooter and car hire are available through the villa, and ride-hailing apps work in the area.
