Why We Recommend Six Hills Villa
Perched on a hillside above Plai Laem on Koh Samui’s peaceful northeast coast, Six Hills Villa is a striking five-bedroom retreat that balances genuine luxury with the kind of relaxed tropical atmosphere that makes a holiday feel effortless. At $450 per night in low season — just $90 per room — it delivers outstanding value for a fully staffed, sea-view villa with a private pool, daily breakfast, and sweeping views across to Koh Pha Ngan.
The property is spread across two beautifully designed pavilions set within lush tropical gardens anchored by a magnificent banyan tree. One pavilion houses all five bedrooms, four of which feature freestanding bathtubs and spacious en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and double vanities. The second pavilion contains an open-plan living and dining area, a guest kitchen for casual meals, and a separate staff kitchen where the resident chef prepares complimentary continental breakfast each morning and additional meals on request. The centrepiece is a generous swimming pool flanked by sun loungers, with a traditional Thai sala at one end that doubles as a yoga or meditation space.
