Villa Solaris (4 Bedrooms)
Why We Recommend Villa Solaris (4 Bedrooms)
Villa Solaris sits within the exclusive Cape Amarin Estate above Kamala, and with just four bedrooms it offers an unusually high ratio of facilities to guests. Three swimming pools, a home cinema, a private gym, and a massage room would be generous for an 8-bedroom villa — for a 4-bedroom property at around US$213 per room per night in low season, it feels almost excessive in the best possible way. The three-pavilion layout connected by a sky bridge and elevator gives the property a resort-like scale, and the panoramic ocean views from every bedroom make the elevated hillside position genuinely worthwhile. It is one of the best-equipped small-group villas we have seen on Phuket.
What Makes It Special
Private Pool
including an infinity-edge pool that creates a seamless line between water and the Andaman Sea below
Sky bridge connecting the pavilions
an architectural detail that makes moving through the property feel like an experience rather than just getting from room to room
Spa & Wellness
the kind of facilities that mean you genuinely do not need to leave the villa during your stay
Villa Architecture
the open-plan space wraps around the upper pool and the natural light is excellent
Elevator access between levels
a practical addition for a multi-level hillside property that makes it more accessible than most comparable villas
Before You Book
Hillside Location
bedrooms are not all next to each other, which is great for privacy but means walking between areas
Kamala Beach is 10 minutes by car
you are not beachfront or within walking distance, so transport is needed for beach days
Pricing
the December to January jump is significant, so book early for holiday dates
Villa Layout
worth checking availability if 4 bedrooms is more than you need
Getting Around
beautiful for relaxation but limited for evening dining and nightlife without a car or taxi
