Villa Tiga Puluh takes its name from the Indonesian word for thirty, a nod to the family who built it in 2014 to celebrate their thirtieth wedding anniversary. That personal origin story shows in every detail of this Seminyak compound, from the ornamental fish pond that greets you at the entrance to the curated Indonesian art throughout each pavilion. Set on a quiet cul-de-sac off Jalan Drupadi, the villa occupies over 500 square metres of living space arranged across six bungalow-style pavilions surrounding a 20-metre swimming pool. It is a layout that feels closer to a private boutique resort than a conventional holiday rental, with enough separation between sleeping quarters that seven couples or a multi-generational family can share the space without feeling on top of one another.
