Villa Anyar

Villa Anyar is a study in arches. Every opening is curved — doorways, windows, the mirrors, the niche above the bed — and each one is framed in warm timber against white plaster. Combined with the timber-clad pitched ceilings, it gives a small house a sense of procession, one arched threshold leading to the next.

A slim pool runs alongside the building with a shaded deck and rattan loungers, and the living room steps down into a deep white sofa facing full-height glass. The kitchen island sits under rattan pendants with timber stools pulled up to it, and a long dining table extends towards the garden. Above, an upper terrace with a timber pergola looks out over a rough stone wall and the treeline.

Two bedrooms sit under the same timber ceilings, one with an arched alcove behind the bed and doors opening to the pool. Bathrooms are pale and simple, with round timber-framed mirrors above stone basins and walk-in showers. Seseh keeps its quiet rice-field character, and the beach is roughly 400 metres away.
