Villa Retreat is a boutique compound of three privately walled villas set just minutes from Pererenan Beach in the quieter, more refined end of the Canggu corridor. Two intimate two-bedroom residences sit alongside one larger four-bedroom villa, delivering eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms across the estate. Pererenan has matured into one of Canggu’s most appealing neighbourhoods for travellers who prefer quality over nightlife. The black-sand beach is a short scooter ride away, offering reliable surf breaks and far fewer crowds than Batu Bolong or Berawa. Within walking distance of the estate, the cafe scene is excellent: BAKED Pererenan draws a loyal crowd for its flaky croissants and brunch menu, Hippie Fish serves fresh seafood right beside the shore, and Bokashi offers refined Japanese-inspired dining from the team behind La Brisa. For sunset drinks, La Brisa itself is only a few minutes further along the coast.
