Nirwana Air
Why We Recommend Nirwana Air
Nirwana Air is built for one view, and it commits to it completely. The infinity pool runs straight out towards an unbroken sweep of Ubud rice terraces, with nothing between the water and the green but a timber deck and a slim white pergola. There is no road noise, no neighbouring roofline, no compromise — just 180 degrees of working paddy shifting colour through the day.
The living pavilion behind it is open on three sides beneath a vaulted timber ceiling, with woven rattan pendants hanging low over a sunken lounge and a long dining table. The kitchen sits at one end behind a stone island, and the whole space is oriented outward, so the rice fields stay in frame whether you are cooking, eating or sprawled on a sofa with a book.
Three bedrooms carry the same discipline: full-height glass, timber-panelled walls, and beds positioned to face the view rather than the room. One is a four-poster draped in white netting; all three have their own bathroom, two of them with planted open-air sections where the shower sits under the sky. It sleeps nine, which makes it unusually flexible for a three-bedroom villa — comfortable for two families as easily as for one group of friends.
