Casa Hannah

In the heart of Seminyak, within walking distance of Gado Gado beach, Casa Hannah pairs crisp contemporary architecture with the warmth of Balinese craft. Two white pavilions face each other across a twenty-metre pool and a wide green lawn, framed by tall palms, so the whole villa feels open, bright and wonderfully private despite the bustle just beyond the walls.

The living spaces are generous and easy-going: an open-air lounge with plush sofas and armchairs flows into a dining area with a long glass-topped table for ten, while the kitchen, with its stone island and stools, is fully equipped for home-cooked meals. Rich timber panelling and Balinese artwork add texture throughout, and a media room with a bookshelf, a big screen and a games console offers a cool retreat on hot afternoons. Outside, loungers line the pool deck and a barbecue stands ready for dinner under the stars.

Five air-conditioned bedrooms are split between the two pavilions, each with its own bathroom: the master sits on the upper floor with a large bathtub and rain shower, two guest rooms below have sunken baths, and the second pavilion has a poolside room on the ground floor and a balcony room above. Breakfast is included, a team of six looks after the villa, and Seminyak Square, Ku De Ta and some of the area’s best restaurants are close by.
