Himmapana Villa Hills 2 is a bright, contemporary pool villa in a small, secure enclave of fifteen homes in the green hills behind Kamala. Its white walls, wide glass doors and pale oak details feel fresh and calm the moment you step inside, and the whole house is turned towards its own private garden and pool. It is an easy, relaxed choice for couples, small families or two friends travelling together who want their own space close to the beach.

The pool is the star of the show: a ten-metre stretch of turquoise water with wide entry steps and a shallow ledge for lounging, framed by tall hedges and swaying palms that keep it wonderfully private. Beside it, a sunken lounge with plump cushions is the spot for lazy afternoons and drinks as the light softens, with woven chairs set out on the terrace. Indoors, an air-conditioned living room with a smart TV flows into a dining area and a neat, fully equipped kitchen, and full-width sliding doors open everything up to the pool.

Upstairs, two calm, light-filled bedrooms share a balcony with views over the jungle-clad hills. One has a king bed and the other has twin beds that can be joined into a king, and both have their own bathrooms with glass-walled showers. Housekeeping visits daily, the pool is cared for by the estate team, and an on-call shuttle runs down to Kamala for beach days, cafés and restaurants. Breakfast and other meals can be ordered from a menu whenever you prefer to stay in.
