Pa Sak Tong Estate

Pa Sak Tong Estate brings together two neighbouring teak villas, Pa Sak Tong Villa and Villa Khum Sak Tong, on one private estate in the countryside outside Chiang Rai, about twenty minutes from the airport. Rice paddies, ponds and wooded hills surround the property on every side, and with nine bedrooms spread between two main houses and three separate river houses, it is ideal for large families, several families travelling together, yoga and wellness retreats and weddings.

Outdoors, around two kilometres of walkways wind through the gardens past koi ponds, lotus ponds, fountains and gazebos, with views across the paddies to the hills on the horizon. There are two heated, chemical-free pools, one of thirty by twelve metres and one of twelve by six metres, each with loungers and shade, and an organic garden supplies the kitchens with fresh vegetables and herbs every day. Water buffalo graze down by the river, and there is space on the lawns for badminton and morning yoga.

Inside, the teak and glass living pavilions are furnished with antique furniture, fine artwork and oriental carpets, with five living areas and several dining spots, from a long table in an open pavilion to candlelit terraces. The estate has a gym, three spas, three saunas, a kids club and a media room with films and games. The master suites have jacuzzis or claw-foot bathtubs as well as rain showers, and every bedroom has climate control and its own bathroom. Breakfast is included, and personal chefs, butler service, daily housekeeping and round-the-clock security come with the stay.
