Rawayana Central Park Four Bedroom Deluxe Villa gives a group of eight two places to unwind: a sparkling pool courtyard at ground level, and a private rooftop terrace above it. It sits in the Central Park section of the Rawayana development in Rawai, a contemporary home of around 250 square metres with clean white walls, warm oak tones and tall black-framed glass. The Rawai seafront, with its longtail boats and seafood restaurants, is around five minutes’ walk away.

The seven-metre private pool is framed by a pale stone deck, with a pair of rattan chairs at the water’s edge for the first coffee of the day. From the poolside a staircase climbs to the rooftop, where a shaded gazebo with sun loungers and a ceiling fan catches the breeze above the neighbouring roofs, a lovely place to watch the sky darken over southern Phuket.
