The Coast Villa is a striking contemporary beach house at Induruwa, just south of Bentota, built in concrete, glass and warm teak and set behind a palm-shaded lawn that leads down to the sand. Five king-sized suites, a rooftop lounge and a dedicated staff of seven make it a polished choice for families and friends who want modern design, sea views and attentive service in one place.
A lap pool runs along the side of the house, with lounge chairs on the covered terrace beside it, and the lawn beyond has a hammock strung between the coconut palms facing the ocean. The open-sided dining pavilion looks straight out to sea, and up on the roof a glass-walled lounge with a steam room gives wide views along the coast. Tropical planting fills the internal courtyards, so the house feels green and airy from every level.
Inside, the living room has a home cinema, a long teak dining table seats the whole group, and a games room holds a pool table. Each suite has a king bed, a smart TV and a coffee machine, and the Lanka Suite adds a walk-in wardrobe and a freestanding bath with sea views. One suite is wheelchair accessible, and the Ceylon Suite has three single beds that can be joined into a king. Daily breakfast is included, and the chef can cook lunch and dinner from a menu.
