Materials are contemporary tropical — clean lines, natural stone, teak accents — with colourful paintings and owner-curated decor lending genuine personality rather than the anonymity of a hotel suite.
All four bedrooms have king beds, en-suites and their own ocean-facing balcony, and the recently added fourth operates as a semi-independent suite with its own lounge and kitchenette — well suited to groups of couples who want shared social spaces but a degree of separation at day’s end. The 8-metre infinity pool aligns its edge with the sea for a seamless merge of water and sky, ringed by a sandwash sundeck with loungers and shade. Practicalities are unusually strong: the main road is a minute away, Choeng Mon and Chaweng beaches both about two kilometres off, the airport under fifteen minutes, with a complimentary transfer both ways, a much-praised multilingual manager, and the villa’s own power generator for the occasional storm.
