Villa Chada
Why We Recommend Villa Chada
Villa Chada sits on the headland at the edge of Kamala Bay, one of seven villas in a private estate with its own path down to a secluded beach. It is a true Thai-style residence: four separate pavilions under steep, carved timber roofs, linked by paved garden walks, lotus ponds and beds of frangipani and bougainvillea. Every pavilion looks out to the Andaman Sea, and the whole place feels more like a small private resort than a house.
The heart of the estate is a free-form infinity pool, more than sixteen metres long, that seems to run straight out into the bay. A sunset deck with loungers and big umbrellas sits right on the edge, and this is where most evenings end. Across the water from the pool, the main living pavilion opens on every side through tall glass doors, with deep sofas, rich teak floors and a second, quieter lounge for reading or films. Meals are served in an open dining pavilion beside the pool, and the kitchen is fully equipped for the villa’s own chef.
Six bedrooms are spread across the pavilions, so families and friends each get real privacy. The master suite, on the garden level, has a wraparound terrace facing the sea. A mini master suite opens onto the garden with its own terrace, and the guest rooms include two twin rooms, ideal for children, one of which connects to a neighbouring room. A villa manager, chef and round-the-clock security look after the estate, and Kamala’s beach, village and restaurants are only minutes away.
