Villa Coco.nuts

Villa Coco.nuts pairs a white A-frame shell with exposed black steel trusses, and the contrast is the whole idea — soft plaster and warm timber held inside a hard black frame, closer to a small gallery than a tropical villa. Black track lighting runs the ridge, steel-framed glass doors slide back to the pool, and the effect is graphic and calm at the same time.

The ground floor is one open room under the pitch: a low sunken seating area, a long timber dining table with black chairs, and a kitchen built into the end wall in pale stone and oak. A sliding barn door closes off the main bedroom. The entrance wall outside is painted with a full tropical mural, the villa’s name lettered across it.

Two bedrooms are quiet and uncluttered, with timber headboard walls, integrated shelving and their own bathrooms in pale stone with timber vanities and walk-in showers. A narrow lap pool runs the length of the plot beside potted cactus and palms. Pererenan Beach is minutes away, with the Canggu cafés and shops a short drive beyond.
