Villa Horizon Phuket

Villa Horizon climbs the green hillside of Kamala’s Millionaire Mile, a cluster of Thai-style pavilions under steep timber roofs, wrapped in some thirteen hundred square metres of private garden. Tall trees, flowering shrubs and birdsong surround the house, and almost every terrace looks out over the Andaman Sea. Kamala Beach, with its cafés and restaurants, is about five minutes away by car, yet up here it feels like your own small hideaway above the bay.

At the centre of the garden lies a fifteen-metre infinity pool that seems to spill towards the horizon, edged with loungers under white parasols and a shaded outdoor lounge that catches the sunset. A colonnade of stone pillars frames a sea-view jacuzzi, and a covered verandah threads through the house, linking every room to the pool terrace and the far corners of the garden. Downstairs there are two living rooms with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, a second dining room that opens onto a wide terrace, a modern kitchen, a billiards room and a dedicated spa room for in-villa massages.

Upstairs, six bedrooms open through sliding glass doors onto their own balconies, some facing the sea and others the pool or the treetops. Four have king beds and private bathrooms, a few with deep tubs beside the windows, while two twin rooms with beds that can be joined suit children and share a bathroom between them.
