Villa La Prana

Villa La Prana is a seafront home set into the rocky, tree-lined coast above Kamala, spread across more than two thousand square metres of terraced grounds that step down towards the Andaman Sea. Graceful Thai-style roofs crown bright, airy interiors in soft white and sea blue, and the sound of waves on the rocks below follows you everywhere. With seven bedrooms, it is a superb choice for large families and groups of friends who want space, privacy and the ocean at their feet.

The infinity pool is placed to make the most of the view, its edge seeming to merge with the sea, and beside it a traditional Thai sala catches the last of the evening light. A covered outdoor dining area overlooks the water, and several furnished terraces let everyone find their own corner. Further down, a path through the trees leads to timber decks perched just above the rocks, perfect for a quiet sunset. Inside, a large living room with an L-shaped sofa opens onto a sea-view terrace, and there is a separate media room, a billiard room and a gym.

Each of the seven bedrooms has its own balcony, a large television, a sofa and an ensuite bathroom, and six of them also have a bathtub out on the balcony, so you can soak while gazing at the sea. Five rooms have king beds and two have twin beds. A team of six looks after housekeeping, and the chef can cook lunch and dinner. Kamala Beach and its restaurants are close by, with Patong a short drive away.
