Villa Sand

Villa Sand sits right on Natai Beach, just north of Phuket, where a long, quiet sweep of golden sand meets the Andaman Sea and the pace of life slows right down. A wide lawn shaded by old trees runs from the house to the shore, and from the pool it is only a few steps onto the beach. Mornings start with a barefoot walk along the water’s edge, and evenings end watching the sun sink into the sea from the garden.

The pool sits at the heart of the garden, ringed by sun loungers, with bedroom doors opening straight onto the water. A broad covered terrace holds a sofa lounge for sunset and a dining table for ten, so most meals happen outdoors with the sea in view. Kayaks, surfboards and boogie boards are kept in a boathouse beneath the garden. Inside, a bright, airy living and dining room under a timber ceiling looks out to the ocean, with plush sofas, a large smart TV with streaming, a second dining table for ten and a fully equipped kitchen.

Five bedrooms are all on one level. Bedrooms one and two wake up to pool and ocean views, bedroom three opens onto the garden, and bedroom five has a seating area by the garden and a bathroom with double rain showers. Bedroom four has twin beds with pull-out beds below, perfect for four children, and a study can become an extra room with a fold-away double bed. Families are especially well looked after, with a travel cot, high chairs, baby baths, a bottle steriliser, bed rails and plenty of toys and books.
