Villa South Point Ocean
Why We Recommend Villa South Point Ocean
Villa South Point Ocean is a large beachfront villa on the coast near Ahangama, built over three levels with wide shared spaces and a lawn that runs straight to the sand. With eleven bedrooms across the main house and an adjoining extension, it is made for multi-generational families and big groups of friends who want to stay under one roof, with the surf, cafés and beaches of Ahangama, Weligama and Mirissa close by and Galle within easy reach.
Out front, a twelve-by-six-metre pool is set into a green lawn with the ocean stretching away beyond the palms. Sun loungers line the water, shaded spots offer respite in the midday heat, and the garden leads down to a sandy strip of beach with chairs set out among the trees. In the evening the pool and the house light up, and tables can be laid on the sand for dinner by the sea.
Indoors, the open living area has big windows and doors that keep the ocean in view, a comfortable lounge with plenty of seating and a counter with stools for pre-dinner drinks. The long dining table seats the whole group for proper shared meals. Bedrooms feature four-poster beds with mosquito nets and air conditioning, and several open onto private balconies or terraces with outdoor chairs. A team of six staff looks after the house, with housekeeping, laundry and security, and the kitchen can cook breakfast, lunch and dinner.
