Villa Tremjasa

Villa Tremjasa climbs a green hillside above Samrong Bay, in Samui’s quiet north-east corner near Plai Laem and Choeng Mon. It is one of a small collection of villas on a secure estate, and every level looks out across turquoise water to the islands offshore. The beach is a short walk down the hill, yet the villa feels tucked away, with only birdsong and the sea for company.

Life centres on the pool terrace, where an infinity-edge pool in green glass tiles seems to spill into the bay. Sunbeds line the deck, and a covered lounge with bright rattan sofas makes the perfect perch for sundowners as the light fades over the water. There is a barbecue grill for evenings at home, and an outdoor table with one of the best views on the island. Indoors, the air-conditioned living room sits right beside the pool, with a deep sectional facing the sea, while the modern kitchen has a built-in oven, a double-door fridge and a coffee maker, beside a dining table for six.

Five king bedrooms are spread across different floors. Two master suites share sweeping sea-view terraces, while the rooms below pool level are quieter and more private. One bedroom is a children’s favourite, with a mezzanine bed, a ladder, a play tepee and bright artwork. The estate brings resort-style extras: an on-site restaurant with room service, 24-hour security, kayaks, poolside massages and a private chef on request, plus an included arrival transfer from the airport.
