Chimera Villas

Three pools, three houses and one front gate: Chimera Villas is a walled estate in central Seminyak made up of a two-storey four-bedroom villa and two single-storey two-bedroom villas, all taken together as a single eight-bedroom stay. It is a rare way for a big family or several couples to share a holiday while every household still has its own front door, its own lawn and its own water to dive into.

The pools set the rhythm of the day. The longest runs sixteen metres beside the main villa, and the two smaller houses each have a ten-metre pool edged with lawn, frangipani and palms, with loungers, a hidden bale and a hammock tucked into the planting. Indoors, each villa has its own living room, dining table and kitchen, finished in dark timber, cream stone and Balinese art, and every one of the eight bedrooms has a king-size bed, air conditioning, a TV and its own bathroom, several with deep soaking tubs or open-air showers.

Breakfast is included and a chef, housekeepers and a manager look after the estate, so mornings can start with a swim and a table already laid. Step outside and Seminyak is on your doorstep: Petitenget Beach, Seminyak Square, the boutiques of Jalan Petitenget and long-standing sunset spots such as Ku De Ta are all close by, as is the sea temple of Pura Petitenget.
