Gala Holiday is a smart, two-storey family home about five minutes’ drive from the centre of Pattaya, close enough for beaches, restaurants and Tesco supermarket runs, yet tucked behind a gated front garden on a quiet residential street. Four king-bedded suites, each with its own bathroom, make it a comfortable, easy choice for families and small groups of friends of up to ten.

Outside, a private pool sits between flowering beds and a lawn, with two stone elephants sending arcs of water into the far end. A long covered terrace runs along the house, with a picnic-style dining table, a smaller bistro set and an outdoor kitchen counter with a sink and a charcoal barbecue, so long, lazy lunches by the water are part of the routine here.

Indoors, a large air-conditioned living room opens onto the pool through glass doors, with a deep sectional sofa and a 65-inch smart TV. The open-plan dining area and modern white kitchen come with a built-in oven, microwave and coffee maker, and a polished staircase with a chandelier leads up to the bedrooms. Each of the four bedrooms has a king bed, air conditioning and an en-suite shower room, and daily housekeeping keeps everything in order.
