Golden Lotus Villas – The Harmony

Golden Lotus Villas The Harmony is the larger kind of villa in this hillside collection above Chaweng, with four bedrooms, two living rooms and a sweeping view from the Bophut headland across to the sea off Chaweng. The style is bright and contemporary, with white walls, pale floors and glass balustrades, softened by woven pendant lights, rattan chairs and natural stone, and it gives families and friends plenty of room to spread out.

The infinity pool runs along the edge of the terrace and seems to spill into the treetops and the bay below. There are loungers in the sun, a cushioned daybed for lazy afternoons and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim. Inside, the main living room has big sofas and wide glass doors to the view, and a long dining table seats the whole group beneath black woven lamps. A second living room gives quieter space for reading or films, and the fully equipped kitchen is joined by a further dining corner.

All four bedrooms have king beds, air conditioning, a TV and their own bathroom, and floor-to-ceiling glass frames the green hills and the sea. One bathroom is built around a striking natural boulder. There is gym equipment for keeping up a routine, housekeeping and a villa manager look after the house, and lunch and dinner can be prepared at the villa on request. Chaweng’s beach and night market are a short drive away.
