Villa Vie

Villa Vie Samui is a striking modern villa stepped down the hillside above Chaweng, with panoramic views over treetops and rooftops to the turquoise sea and the islands of Samui’s north-east coast. Natural stone, pale timber, linen and soft earthy tones give it a calm, grown-up feel, while walls of glass bring the view into nearly every room. Chaweng’s beach, restaurants and walking street are a short drive away when you want them, and the rest of the time the villa is a world of its own.

The infinity pool, fourteen metres long, stretches along the terrace with cushioned loungers set right on the water’s edge and a shaded cabana alongside. Next to it, a sunken outdoor lounge is the place for long, lazy afternoons, and a long dining table on the terrace makes the most of warm evenings as the lights come on across the bay. Inside, open-plan living spaces flow between relaxed lounges, a dining table for the whole group and a modern kitchen with a breakfast counter. Downstairs there is a proper tiered home cinema, a games room with a pool table and foosball, and a well-equipped gym.

The villa offers five beautifully styled king bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, with a sixth bedroom available for larger groups, so it can be booked with four, five or six bedrooms. Breakfast and a return airport transfer are included, and a villa manager, daily housekeeping, a gardener and a private chef look after everything. Baby cots, high chairs and babysitting make it an easy choice for families.
