Himmapana Villa Hills 3A

Himmapana Villa Hills 3A is a two-storey contemporary pool villa perched on the hillside above Kamala, in a secure enclave of fifteen homes. It feels as though it has been slotted into the treetops: the pool deck hangs over a slope of tall jungle trees, and the forested ridges of Phuket’s west coast fill the view in every direction. Inside, it is bright and characterful, with pale oak floors, slatted timber screens and large floral artworks that bring a splash of colour to each room.

The pool runs almost twelve metres along the terrace, its overflow edge seeming to spill straight into the canopy, with teak loungers lined up on the stone deck and an outdoor shower set into a granite wall. At one end, a sunken lounge with soft cushions and a low table is the spot for coffee in the morning and a long, lazy hour in the afternoon. Wide glass doors connect the deck to the living room, where a bold coral sofa and deep armchairs face a smart TV, and a marble-topped dining table for six sits beside a well-equipped kitchen with oven and microwave. A timber staircase rises from the living space to the bedrooms.

All three bedrooms are upstairs, and each has a king bed, a TV, a desk and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Walls of glass slide open onto balconies furnished with rattan nest chairs, looking out across the green valley towards the hills, and the bathrooms are finished in dramatic dark marble with freestanding tubs. Daily housekeeping keeps everything fresh, the estate has a reception team, security and a shared gym, and an on-call shuttle runs down to Kamala Beach.
