Villa Capucine 2 is the most intimate of three sister villas tucked into the green hills above Kamala, a fresh, contemporary home of white walls, pale oak floors and walls of glass. Bold floral and portrait artworks add colour, a dramatic black-marble master suite adds a touch of glamour, and the forested slopes rise on every side. It is a natural choice for a couple, two couples or a small family who want a stylish private pool villa within easy reach of the beach.

Outside, the pool runs the length of the garden at ground level, its edge spilling over like a quiet waterfall and lined with tall palms. Sun loungers sit at the water’s edge, and beside the pool a sunken conversation pit with deep cushions under a shaded overhang is where the afternoons drift by. The open-plan ground floor flows straight onto the pool deck through floor-to-ceiling glass: a lounge with plush sofas and a wall-mounted television, a six-seat dining table, and a sleek kitchen of navy cabinetry and marble with oven, microwave and a large fridge.

Both bedrooms are upstairs, each with a king bed, air conditioning, a television and its own bathroom, and both open onto a furnished balcony looking out over the Kamala hills. The master suite is the showpiece, with an inky marble feature wall, a sitting area and a freestanding bathtub set by the window. The second room has a velvet headboard, a desk and a glass-fronted balcony with loungers made for an afternoon nap. Daily housekeeping and laundry are included, breakfast and airport transfers can be added, and a free shuttle runs down to Kamala Beach during the day.
