Lotus Beach Villa

Lotus Beach Villa is a bright white beachfront compound at the front of a small villa estate on Bang Po Beach, on Samui’s peaceful north-west coast. A wide green lawn runs from the house to the sand, palms lean out over the water, and the long infinity pool appears to spill straight into the sea. The beach here is calm and uncrowded, and the villa’s own gate opens right onto it. With five king bedrooms for up to ten guests, it is made for large families and groups of friends who want space, privacy and a team to look after them.

The twenty-five-metre infinity pool is the star, lined with loungers and big umbrellas, and beside it an open-sided dining pavilion with a table for ten looks straight out to sea. Across the garden, a covered terrace with cushioned sofas and a timber sala make shady places to read or doze, and a pool table sits out on the deck. Indoors, the beachfront pavilion holds an air-conditioned dining room and a modern kitchen with a long island, while a separate high-ceilinged living room, bordered by a shallow pond, has big windows facing the ocean. For active days there is a gym with a foosball table, and the villa also has a treatment room for massages.

The bedrooms are spread across separate pavilions linked by garden walkways, so everyone has their own retreat. Two master suites have semi-outdoor bathrooms and their own media corners, and the three guest rooms also have king beds, televisions and en-suite bathrooms. A housekeeper and private chef look after the villa day to day, breakfast is included, and a return airport transfer is part of the stay. Massages, a driver, a car or a boat trip can all be arranged.
