Maroc Pool Villas

Maroc Pool Villas are four one-bedroom pool villas at a Moroccan-inspired beachfront resort in Pak Nam Pran, Pranburi, a quiet stretch of the Gulf of Thailand coast about half an hour’s drive south of Hua Hin. Pink-washed walls, carved screens, arched doorways and hand-laid mosaic tiles make each one feel a world away from a typical Thai beach stay, and every villa is individually designed. They are made for couples, honeymooners and anyone after a private, romantic hideaway by the sea.

Each villa has its own private swimming pool set in a beachfront garden, with the sand and the sea only a few steps beyond the lawn. One pool runs straight out towards the beach, another has an infinity edge framed by palms, and sunken lounges with bright cushions sit beside the water for long, lazy afternoons. Up on the rooftop terrace there are cushioned lounge spots for watching the sun set and the stars come out over the gulf.

Inside, floor-to-ceiling glass doors open the living space to the garden and pool, with daybed-style sofas, a flat-screen TV, a minibar and coffee and tea facilities. The air-conditioned bedrooms open onto breezy balconies with ocean views, and several feature canopy-draped beds and jewel-toned walls. The marble en-suite bathrooms are a highlight, with mosaic-tiled bathtubs, separate rainfall showers and quality amenities. Breakfast is included, and the resort’s restaurant, hammam spa and gym are close at hand.
