Villa Nilaya Hua Hin

Villa Nilaya is a beachfront home just north of Hua Hin town, the royal seaside resort around three hours from Bangkok, set in landscaped grounds of palms and frangipani that run right down to the sand. Five bedrooms split between the main house and two detached sala suites make it an easy fit for families and friends travelling together who want both shared space and a little privacy, with Hua Hin’s night markets, restaurants and the historic railway station a short drive away.

Wooden boardwalks link the house and suites to the pools within the grounds, which include an infinity edge looking straight out to sea and lagoon-style stretches with palm trees growing from little islands. A wide lawn leads to sun loungers at the beach, and there are terraces all around, from a shaded deck with hanging swing chairs to a large terrace above the infinity pool that is lovely for dinner under the stars.

The main house has a bright living room with plush sofas, an eight-seat dining table and a well-equipped modern kitchen, while each sala suite has its own living and dining area opening onto the garden. Upstairs in the main house, a king bedroom opens onto a large private balcony with loungers, and two queen bedrooms share a bathroom. The two suite bedrooms have king beds, and the master has a sea-view wall. A caretaking couple lives on site, preparing breakfast each morning and looking after housekeeping and the garden, and there is a spa room for massages.
