Pranaya Arunava Villa

Beyond the low hedge of purple flowers at the end of the garden, terraced rice fields and coconut palms roll away towards the horizon, and that view sets the tone for everything at Pranaya Arunava Villa. This is a newly built two-bedroom villa in the green countryside around Ubud, made for couples travelling together or a small family who want calm mornings, a pool of their own and the cultural heart of Ubud within a short drive.

The house is arranged around a walled tropical garden. Two pitched-roof pavilions face a long blue-tiled pool with a raised jacuzzi at one end, and teak loungers sit under a broad canvas umbrella on the sun deck. A timber gazebo gives you a shaded place to read or take an afternoon coffee, and stepping-stone paths cross neatly kept lawns between the rooms. Indoors, the open-plan living and dining space has glass doors on both sides, a long timber dining table and a fully equipped kitchen for simple home-cooked meals.

Both bedrooms have king beds and doors opening straight onto the garden, so you wake to green views and birdsong. Each has its own marble ensuite with a freestanding bathtub and rain shower, which makes this an easy, even split for two couples. Breakfast is included and the villa is serviced daily, and a driver, airport transfers or a scooter can be arranged when you are ready to explore Ubud’s markets, galleries and temples.
