Rawayana Central Park Five Bedroom Deluxe Villa is the biggest of the Central Park homes in the Rawayana development in Rawai, and the only one with a bedroom on an upper floor. Around 300 square metres of crisp white walls, black-framed glass and pale timber sit around a long, sheltered courtyard, so a large family or two families travelling together can share one roof without stepping on each other’s toes. The Rawai seafront and the main road, with its cafés, massage shops and supermarkets, are around five minutes away on foot.

The centrepiece is a ten-metre private pool, the longest of the Central Park villas, running the full length of the courtyard with a broad sun deck alongside. At one end a large shaded gazebo seats up to ten, which makes it the natural spot for long lunches and lazy afternoon tea. Tall sliding doors pull the open-plan living room, dining area and kitchen right up to the water, with a deep sofa and widescreen TV for film nights, and a kitchen kitted out with an oven, microwave, toaster, double-door fridge and washing machine. Barbecue equipment is there for grilling seafood from the Rawai market.
