Villa Sapphire sits on a gentle rise above a green valley in Nai Harn, at the peaceful southern tip of Phuket, a short drive from Nai Harn Beach and its lagoon. Wooded hillsides fill the view from the pool and living room, and the house feels wonderfully private. With four bedrooms, including a twin room and a bunk room stocked with toys, games and story books, it is a wonderfully child-friendly home, perfect for families who want their own pool and plenty of room to roam.

A wide sun terrace wraps around the infinity-style pool, which has spa jets for an easy soak at the end of the day. Loungers line the water, a pitched-roof sala alongside it holds a second dining table and the barbecue, and a lawn beyond the terrace gives children space to play or adults a quiet spot for morning yoga. In the evening, a round table by the pool is perfect for dinner under the stars, with the lit-up house reflected in the water.

Inside, white walls, marble floors and Chinese antiques set the tone, with Thai artworks and warm lighting adding colour. The living room has deep sofas, a large television and a small film library, and the dining table seats eight beside an open, fully equipped kitchen. Both king bedrooms open onto the pool terrace, and the master suite has a large bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower. Housekeeping is included, and the housekeeper can cook home-style Thai meals with groceries charged at cost.
