Villa Anassa Canggu
Why We Recommend Villa Anassa Canggu
Named after the Greek word for queen, Villa Anassa brings a distinctly Mediterranean sensibility to Canggu’s tropical landscape. This two-bedroom villa swaps the typical Balinese aesthetic for whitewashed walls, arched doorways, and a sun-drenched terrace that could sit comfortably on a Greek island — yet you are just minutes from Berawa Beach and some of Bali’s best cafes.
The ground floor is designed as one continuous living space, with an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge flowing directly onto the private pool terrace. Lush tropical planting frames the pool on all sides, creating genuine privacy despite the central Canggu location. Most of your time will be spent out here — morning coffee by the pool, long lunches under the terrace shade, sundowners as the light softens through the palms.
Upstairs, two ensuite bedrooms each have their own queen bed, air conditioning, and television. Daily housekeeping is included, and the on-site team can arrange everything from airport transfers and scooter hire to restaurant bookings and surf lessons. With a 4.95 rating across more than 40 guest reviews, the service here is consistently praised.
At $121 per night in low season, Villa Anassa is one of the smartest ways to experience Canggu with a private pool. It suits two couples or a small family equally well, and the location puts you within easy reach of Finns Beach Club, the Berawa cafe strip, and the surf breaks without sitting on a main road.
Villa Anassa delivers boutique-hotel polish in a private setting at a price that keeps Canggu within reach. If you are a couple or pair of friends after somewhere photogenic with a pool, attentive staff, and the best of Canggu on your doorstep, this two-bedroom gem is a seriously smart pick. From $121/night.
