Villa Balimu Seminyak
Why We Recommend Villa Balimu Seminyak
Curtains of trailing greenery spill down the upper walls of Villa Balimu Seminyak, softening its clean modern lines and screening an eleven-metre pool of deep blue mosaic. Loungers and umbrellas line the deck, a thatched gazebo with a daybed sits at the far end of the water, and a yoga bale gives you a shaded spot to stretch before the day warms up. It is a calm, contemporary hideaway in one of the liveliest corners of Bali.
Floor-to-ceiling glass wraps the air-conditioned living and dining room, so the sofas and the long table for eight look straight out onto the pool, with a fully equipped kitchen alongside. A covered terrace with ceiling fans and deep sofas makes the most of warm afternoons. Each of the three bedrooms has a king bed, its own ensuite and tall windows facing the pool or garden; two of the bathrooms have freestanding tubs.
Breakfast is served daily and a team of three attendants keeps the house in order, while a chef can be booked to cook other meals at extra charge. Step outside and Petitenget is at your feet: Motel Mexicola and La Lucciola are a few minutes’ walk, Masceti Temple is around 300 metres away, and the sand of Petitenget Beach is only about 400 metres from the gate.
