Villa Tana Takah

Villa Tana Takah looks like a cabin that has wandered out of a forest and settled in Pererenan. Two blocks clad in weathered timber shingles face each other across a lawn, linked by a sky bridge that floats above the garden, while concrete walls, steel and glass give the whole thing a crisp, architectural edge. Built in 2023 and featured in design press, it is a house for people who notice how a building is made.

The ground floor opens to the garden through sliding glass: a living room with long built-in sofas and a bold woven rug, a six-seat dining table, and a sleek dark kitchen. The 8-metre pool has a shallow end for children, and there is table tennis, books and board games for slow afternoons, plus a rooftop garden to climb up to. Three king-bed bedrooms are split across the two buildings, with the master in its own block for extra privacy, its own small living and dining corner and a balcony over the pool.

Breakfast is included each morning. Step out and you are a few minutes from Echo Beach and Pererenan Beach, with the surf breaks, beach clubs and café scene of Canggu and Pererenan all close by. A private chef, yoga teacher or massage can be arranged at extra charge to make the most of staying in.
