Villa Blue View sits high on the hillside above Bang Po, on Koh Samui’s quieter north-west coast, and from almost every corner the view runs out across the sea to a line of distant islands. It is a crisp, contemporary home of white planes, warm stone walls and huge sheets of glass, built so that the horizon is always part of the room. Five bedrooms, a long infinity pool and a team of four staff make it a natural fit for larger families and groups of friends.

Life here centres on the main terrace, where a dramatic infinity-edge pool seems to spill straight into the sky, with a broad sun deck, loungers and umbrellas along its length. Shaded salas with hammocks sit beside the water for the hottest hours, and a second, smaller pool set into the lawn gives children their own place to splash while the main pool stays calm. A built-in barbecue station sits under cover by the pool, ready for long, easy lunches and sunset suppers.

Indoors, the living and dining spaces open wide to the terrace, with deep sofas and a long table that faces the sea. The bedrooms share the same calm, minimalist feel, with white floors, soft curtains and full-width ocean views, and several have freestanding bathtubs placed to enjoy the outlook. One room has built-in bunks and extra floor space, perfect for children sharing while the adults take the quieter suites. Breakfast is included, and a villa manager and daily housekeeping look after the house.
