Villa Briana

Behind a weathered turquoise door in Batu Belig, a narrow path lined with heliconia and frangipani opens onto a surprisingly generous lawn, a glowing green pool and two white pavilions. Villa Briana is a calm, private two-bedroom hideaway for couples, friends or a small family, set among quiet residential lanes yet close enough to stroll down to Batu Belig Beach for sunset.

The living pavilion is open to the garden on one side, with sheer curtains framing the view and big monochrome artworks above the sofas. A round dining table sits at the edge of the terrace, there is a compact kitchen for snacks and simple meals, and in the evening uplighting turns the planting around the pool a soft, luminous green. The two king bedrooms are matching suites, each with sliding glass doors to the lawn, a television and an ensuite bathroom in pale stone and reclaimed timber.

Mornings start well here: breakfast is prepared fresh each day and included in the stay, served on the terrace or out by the pool. The five-metre pool is ideal for cooling off between beach walks and naps on the loungers, while housekeeping, garden and pool care are handled quietly, with night security on duty. Shops, cafés and well-loved local warungs are an easy walk away, and the rest of Seminyak is a short ride.
