Villa CassaMia is a bright, white-washed retreat in Jimbaran, where a long, deep-blue pool runs beside a broad lawn edged with frangipani and tropical planting. As the sun goes down the whole two-storey house lights up behind it, reflected in the water, and the loungers on the timber deck become the best seats in the house.

Inside, everything feels airy and generous. A double-height living room with deep white sofas and woven pendant lights opens onto the pool terrace, the long dining table sits beside a sleek kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a billiard table adds a playful touch. For quieter evenings there is a home cinema with a projector screen, a children’s playroom full of toys and a rooftop lounge for sunset drinks above the treetops.

Five bedrooms are styled in calm whites with splashes of colour, with large bathrooms featuring freestanding tubs and walk-in showers, and several rooms open onto balconies or straight out to the pool. A team including a guest assistant, chef and housekeeper looks after the villa, with breakfast included daily. Jimbaran Bay, famous for its calm water and seafood dinners on the sand, is close by, and Uluwatu, Nusa Dua and Kuta are all within easy reach.
