Villa Seriska Jimbaran

Trailing greenery spills from the upper balconies of Villa Seriska Jimbaran towards a wide lawn and a long turquoise pool lined with red parasols, a bright, resort-like scene hidden at the end of a narrow street in Jimbaran. Inside the walls, it feels open and relaxed, with roughly 450 square metres of garden wrapped around a two-storey contemporary house.

The ground floor flows from a deep L-shaped sofa in the living room to a long dining table for twelve, with glass doors pulled back to the pool deck. Outside, a timber pergola shades a second table for ten beside the water, and loungers and a gazebo look over the lawn. A sculptural orange spiral staircase leads up to the bedrooms, while a team of five staff takes care of housekeeping, the garden and the pool, with breakfast cooked each morning.

Jimbaran Bay and its sunset seafood restaurants are roughly five minutes away by car, and the airport is only about 6 km off, which makes arrival day easy. Further south, the beaches of Uluwatu, including Padang Padang, Dreamland and Geger, are an easy drive, as is the clifftop Pura Luhur Uluwatu with its evening Kecak dance.
