Villa Chi Samui

Villa Chi Samui sits right on the sand at Bang Po, on Koh Samui’s calm north coast, where coconut palms lean over a quiet beach and the sea stretches away to the hills of distant islands. It is an elegant, low-slung home of shaded pavilions, polished floors and rich Thai-inspired interiors, with the ocean in view from the moment you step through the gate. Five king-bedded suites and plenty of separate living spaces make it a wonderful choice for multi-generational families and groups of friends.

The days revolve around a twenty-metre lap pool that runs alongside the terrace, with a jacuzzi at its end, and a beachfront lawn set with loungers and big umbrellas. A second pool by the water has a shallow baby area, and there is a curtained daybed pavilion tucked among the frangipani for quiet afternoons. The covered terrace holds a large outdoor dining table and deep lounge sofas, and a kayak waits on the lawn for an easy paddle along the shore.

Indoors, the living room opens wide onto the pool, with a deep sectional sofa and an easy view to the sea, and a generous dining table sits close to the kitchen. There is a games area with a pool table, a compact gym and a dedicated spa room for in-villa massages. All five bedrooms have king beds, air conditioning, TVs and en-suite bathrooms, and the master has a freestanding bathtub in a spacious, resort-style bathroom. Breakfast is included, and a chef can cook other meals on request.
