The pool is generous enough for real swimming rather than mere floating, and the terrace is laid so guests drift naturally between sun, shade and water.

Indoors, the main living room is cool and lofty, its high ceilings keeping the air in motion. The master opens to an en-suite with a stone soaking tub, while two further guest bedrooms and a twin-bedded room flex easily around different travelling combinations. For smaller parties, Cholchalee can also be taken as a two-bedroom villa — making it one of the more adaptable choices in this corner of the Samui market.
