Villa Eterna

Villa Eterna stands high on a hilltop in a gated estate above Choeng Mon, on Koh Samui’s north-east coast, and its position is the whole point: the bay spreads out below, little islands dot the water, and the view shifts from bright turquoise at midday to soft pinks at dusk. Set over three levels, the villa blends Thai roof lines with clean, contemporary interiors, and walls of sliding glass keep the outside in view wherever you are.

The pool terrace on the main level is where days drift by. A long infinity pool runs towards the sea with plenty of loungers along the deck and a covered pavilion for shade, and the edge seems to fall away into the bay. Inside, an open-plan living room with plush sofas and marble floors flows to a six-seat dining table and a fully equipped kitchen with an island, while an outdoor table invites breakfast in the sunshine. At the back of the villa, tropical gardens add a cool green outlook.

Five bedrooms each come with their own bathroom and balconies, front and back. The master suite takes the top floor on its own, with glass doors to the balconies and an outdoor jacuzzi looking straight out to sea. Two more king rooms face the ocean on the pool level, and the last two sit below, opening to the gardens; one of these has twin beds and its own kitchenette, ideal for older children or friends. Choeng Mon Beach is about 500 metres away, and the airport is close by.
