Freedom Villa

A long, deep-blue lap pool runs almost the full length of the garden at Freedom Villa, lined with white sunloungers under cobalt parasols and finished at one end with a curtained poolside pavilion. It is a striking first impression for this five-bedroom Seminyak villa, a modern two-storey home of warm teak, natural stone and floor-to-ceiling glass set close to the beach.

The main living space is open to the garden under a high timber ceiling, with a sweeping sofa facing a stone feature wall and television, a dining table that seats the whole group and a sleek kitchen with a large fridge and island. A stone water feature and planted courtyards bring greenery right up to the house, and upstairs a private gym is fitted with treadmills, weights and a cross-trainer, so training routines can carry on through the holiday.

The bedrooms are calm and generous, with timber floors, big windows over the garden or pool and televisions, and the bathrooms are dressed in marble-toned stone, several with freestanding bathtubs and garden light. Two of the rooms have twin beds that can be joined as kings, and some bedrooms interconnect, which suits families. An in-house chef prepares breakfast each morning, return airport transfers are included, and Seminyak Beach and Kayu Aya’s restaurants and shops are close by.
