Villa Ginger

Villa Ginger feels like a secret garden tucked into the heart of Seminyak. Behind its walls, stepping-stone paths cross a broad, manicured lawn towards a curving, ten-metre pool, all framed by palms, frangipani and red-tiled Balinese roofs. It is the kind of place where the noise of the street simply melts away, yet the beach, boutiques and restaurants of Petitenget are all close at hand.

The pool is the centrepiece, with a raised circular pool at one end and sunloungers lined up along its edge. Beside it, a thatched gazebo and an outdoor bar with stools and a barbecue make lazy afternoons easy, while the open-sided living pavilion beneath a carved timber ceiling flows straight onto the terrace. Inside, a long dining table, a smart TV lounge and a fully equipped kitchen keep everyone together, with a billiard table for evenings in.

The four bedrooms are calm and romantic, most with four-poster beds draped in mosquito nets, and each has its own bathroom; the main suite has a deep stone bathtub set against a garden water wall. Breakfast is included each morning, housekeeping and pool care are taken care of daily, and when you want to head out, Petitenget Beach, La Lucciola and Kilo Kitchen are all within easy reach.
