Villa Alabali
Why We Recommend Villa Alabali
A round mirror set into a wall of stone becomes the centrepiece of Villa Alabali’s living pavilion, glowing like a full moon above the sofas once the lights come on in the evening. Under a soaring alang-alang style timber roof, Balinese art and antiques sit alongside crisp white furnishings, and the whole room opens onto a lawn shaded by tall palms and spilling bougainvillea. It is a polished, peaceful four-bedroom villa right in central Seminyak.
Outside, a twelve-metre pool runs along the garden, lined with white cushioned loungers and parasols, with daybeds tucked under the bougainvillea for afternoon reading. The lawn gives children room to play, while the open-plan living room flows into a dining area with a long timber table and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine for slow mornings. Wide glass doors fold back so the house and garden feel like one space.
Two of the bedrooms are grand pavilion suites with high timber ceilings and four-poster beds draped in white canopies; the other two are calm, contemporary rooms, one with a rattan headboard. Every bedroom has an ensuite with both indoor and outdoor showers. Breakfast is included daily and a large team handles housekeeping, the garden and round-the-clock security. Seminyak’s boutiques and restaurants are close enough to walk to, with Ku De Ta and Potato Head Beach Club nearby for sunset.
