Villa Kashantre

Villa Kashantre puts you within a short stroll of Double Six Beach, which makes it one of the easiest family bases in Legian: sandy mornings, a swim back at the villa and dinner a few minutes away. The house itself is bright and contemporary, with white walls, honey-toned timber and tall A-frame windows, set around a cobalt-tiled pool and a garden thick with palms and frangipani.

The pool has a shallow sun shelf and a raised spa pool at one end, with blue-cushioned loungers along the deck and an outdoor shower against the garden wall. At the back of the garden, a thatched Balinese bale with cushioned seating and a dining table is the shady spot for long lunches. Indoors, a double-height living room with rattan sofas and a big TV opens through folding doors to the water, beside a dining table for eight and a sleek kitchen with black stone counters, ready for a private chef if you prefer.

Three bedrooms have four-poster king beds draped in nets, and the fourth adds two bunk beds to its king, a favourite with children. Each has its own bathroom, and one opens onto a balcony with a table for morning coffee. Daily housekeeping, garden and pool care and security are all included, along with an airport pick-up on arrival. Legian’s restaurants and shops are close by, with Seminyak to the north and Waterbom Bali an easy trip for a family day out.
