Why We Recommend Villa Hari
A macramé hammock swings at the edge of Villa Hari’s living pavilion, just a step from a slim turquoise pool hemmed in by bamboo and palms. This two-storey, three-bedroom villa has the breezy, whitewashed feel of a tropical beach house, with plump red and orange cushions, bean bags and timber beams, all set on a quiet lane in central Seminyak.
The heart of the villa is an open-sided Balinese pavilion where a long sofa, a dining table and a TV corner face straight onto the pool, and a kitchen lined with colourful patterned tiles has an island with bar stools for easy breakfasts. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a four-poster king bed draped in white netting and a private balcony looking over the treetops. Two further king bedrooms on the ground floor each have their own open-air bathroom with a rain shower, framed by greenery and Balinese stone carvings, and rattan sofas and rocking chairs make quiet reading spots.
Step out and you are moments from favourite local cafés and restaurants, spas and Seminyak’s boutiques, with Eat Street and the beach just minutes away. A friendly team of two keeps the house running, and breakfast, lunch, dinner and massages can be arranged in the villa.
