Villa Inasia

Villa Inasia sits right on the white sand of Lipa Noi, on Koh Samui’s quiet west coast, where the water is calm and shallow and the sun sets straight across the bay behind the Five Islands. It is really two beachfront homes on one walled estate, a low garden villa by the shore and a taller ocean-view villa behind it, so a big family or several families can share the place and still each have a corner of their own. Palms lean over the lawn, a swing hangs above the sand, and the whole compound feels like a private beach club for one group.

The main pool is a long, L-shaped stretch of turquoise, fifteen metres from end to end, with a row of loungers facing the sea and a timber sala cushioned for lazy afternoons. A second, smaller infinity pool sits higher up for anyone who wants a quieter swim with a view. Inside, the living rooms open through tall glass doors onto terraces and lawn, there is a billiard table and a media room for evenings in, and a long dining table seats the whole group, with more tables set out on the grass by the water.

All eight bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and several are dressed with four-poster beds and look out to the sea through floor-to-ceiling glass. The two twin rooms suit children or friends, and one of them can be made up as a king. A team of five looks after the estate, breakfast is included and a chef cooks lunch and dinner on request, while kayaks wait on the beach. The villa can also be booked with fewer bedrooms, which makes it just as good for a smaller group.
