Villa Moorea Samui

Villa Moorea Samui is a calm, private three-bedroom hideaway tucked into a leafy estate between Bang Po and Mae Nam, on Koh Samui’s quiet north coast. Bang Po beach is only around 300 metres away, a few minutes’ stroll, yet behind the villa’s white walls the only sounds are birdsong and the breeze through the palms. Recently renovated, it suits couples travelling together, small families or a few friends who want a peaceful base rather than a busy resort strip.

The heart of the villa is a walled courtyard with a long turquoise pool, shaded by big umbrellas and framed by loungers, palms and tropical planting, so you can swim and sunbathe in complete privacy. An outdoor kitchen and an extra outdoor bathroom keep poolside days easy. Inside, the open-plan layout pulls in light and breezes, with a bright, fully equipped kitchen with island seating, a relaxed living space and a laundry room, which makes longer stays simple.

All three bedrooms have king beds, air conditioning and their own bathrooms, finished in soft natural tones with free-standing bathtubs and warm timber furniture. One opens straight onto a private terrace with an outdoor tub and sitting area, and another has a romantic four-poster. There are deliberately no televisions in the bedrooms, the idea being to switch off and wake up to the garden. Breakfast and daily housekeeping are part of the stay, and a private chef can be arranged for Thai favourites and fresh seafood.
